This week our workbench has been full as we have had many laptops in for repair. It would seem that many users are damaging their laptops internal power socket. This is quite a costly repair as it involves complete disasembly of the laptop and then some direct soldering on the laptop motherboard.
To help prevent damaging your laptops power socket we suggest you make a point of choosing a location to use your laptop where its power cable is not stretched or in danger of being snagged or stepped on.
